Don’t know how I’ve missed this thread - some outstanding examples shown. I’ve always been partial to bone, and especially old worm groove bone. Some of the best of that was used by Cattaraugus and Robeson. It has occurred to me that those cutleries which rarely or never used genuine stag often went to greater lengths to use bone jigged to more closely resemble stag. ::hmm:: JMO
