I-Man, I was gifted with one of those Fiskmuks by Rangerbluedog back in January of '13 (thanks Blue). The only thing not to like about the knife is it's size. I carried it for a week or two and it was just too large for my pocket. Other than that, love the knife.

This one is just short of 4 in. closed, 6 5/8 open, half inch across at the butt end, 3/8 thick at the front bolster. But no heavier than my Viper, Seahorse Whit, Queen TDrop, something in that vein. Great one hand opener too.

Starting to love the '06 Mini Copperlock. Still thin and light though stag. Rock solid lock. Silky action and snap. Never get tired of looking at antlers.

I ran across these pics today, some of my Al Mar collection, all are mid-lock lockbacks.
I don't think I have posted them here before.

Love those Al Mar's! Not quite a tactical but not a traditional folder either. Great man, great knife. And a great story, too.

Nice Tanto lock back, Camillus...don't see too many like that, but I sure do like the look of that one.

I love "Christine" (the beaver shield). I have a whittler with the beaver shield that Ivoryman gifted me after the Oregon Knife Show awhile back...but it's not a lockback so I'll have to post photos of it on another thread. In the meantime...here are three very sweet, silky smooth lockbacks that I haven't posted before. My favorite is the mid-lock Kershaw Damascus Wild Turkey in Ebony Wood. The other one is a Canal St. Cutlery tail-lock but I'm not sure exactly what kind of wood scales it has...reddish-purplish-pinkish hue. Both have super tight lock up and easy lock-release bars. Classic knives both.
The last one is a GEC Northfield Swing Guard (Cheetah) in jigged green bone. (I wonder why almost all my serial numbered GEC knives have a "3" in them?)

Lockbacks? Did someone say post photos of your lockbacks? I keep finding more and more...they're practically coming out of the woodwork...or the linen micarta as in this example from Kershaw..a really beautiful gentleman's lockback...nice and slim (but also comes with a quality leather belt sheath), and tight lock up...all around a high quality knife. I have actually used this one at Outback as a personal steak knife (only once, but it was way better for carving steak than the serrated butter knives they provided).

Northwoods Cheetah Swing Guard, Lock Back, acrylic.

Figured I'd post this one as two of the three blades lock.Bought it at a pawn shop the other day for $6."Pacific Rim" construction;peeling black coated blades;sound like a pump shotgun when it locks up;would probably be more effective if you put it inside a large wool sock and used it as a billy club.Makes a good door stop too.

Tidioute 72 LB, Ebony Wharncliffe.

'03 Copperlock now in ivory instead of Delrin, ala Glennbad and Q. Case and a tusk too. Here's elephant in your eye.

Found another one hiding in my vault. This one's so pretty I can't put it away (not a user, I'm just keeping it out to drool over). Super smooth action, solid lock-up, gorgeous deep-jigged & dyed bone scales, and I really love the VG-10 steel.

Hey Wazu...I just noticed that the shield on your Buck overlaps into the front bolster, which is cut out to accommodate it...how unusual and interesting, never seen one like that before...it looks like it might actually be an automatic release button, if so, that's super cool.
