I made a short trip over to Red Hill Cutlery in Radcliff KY this morning to pick up a couple of knives I had ordered. The owner has his old stuff in his knife museum, and I was amazed at how many old knife boxes he has. I haven't been there in several years and didn't appreciate the old knife boxes as much the last time I was there, so I figured I would post pictures for you knife box aficionados. Everything was behind glass making it hard to get any close-ups, but hopefully you can save and blow up the pictures if anyone wants to see any boxes in better detail.

Holy cow, Kevin, thanks for posting those. I have made a mental note to detour off of I 65 and visit Radcliff next time I am in that vicinity.

Definitely the most I have seen in one place. I'm hoping on my next trip I can persuade him to let me in for a closer look at some of these.

Woah
I spy a Fox cutlery salesman's sample display that's a diamond in a diamond pile. Have seen one other, belonging to another member here. Would love to stumble upon one myself someday.
What an awesome place.

WOW!! I could spend a few days in there just staring at all of that. I wish he had an account on AAPK so he could show photos of each one individually. Thanks for sharing Kevin.

I'll be going back there in a couple of weeks. I believe the fella that owns the store and started his knife museum section is retired but still comes by frequently, and his son is running the store now. I met the father several years ago when I went up there and traded a few knives with him and have spoken with the son a few times recently. They both seem to be great guys and enjoy talking knives. I will probably see his son when I go back and will show him this thread and send him the link if they are interested in checking it out.
If you guys see anything in there that looks really rare and/or interesting, let me know and I'll see if they're okay with me getting some better pics.

Lonnie Basham is the dad's name, and I have sold him many boxes over the years. His son, Josh, runs the day to day of the store. Both are great guys and very easy to deal with. They would get a few of the special-order knives that I had made, with the Cattaraugus wood, to sell in their store.
Lonnie's cutlery collection has exploded since I visited the store years ago.

Anything from the top four shelves would be great!

Interesting! I have not saw that box before. Could you show a shot of it without the knife so I can see the full label?
