How does T.M.K. get so many pristine antique knives?
The knives appear to be almost unused...
it is as if somehow, he was travelling BACK in time!!!

I have been working on the time machine concept for quite a while ... or should I say quite some "Time"toomanyknives wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2023 11:15 pmHa! I'm really old TOPDOG! AOC would be glad to procure funding from Congress for you, TOPDOG. She can get you anything you need, as long as it's funded by the taxpayers. Just hang in there, you'll get the time machine going soon enough, then you can go back and buy up all the good stuff that I didn't already buy in the 1800's...GSPTOPDOG wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2023 12:49 amI have been working on the time machine concept for quite a while ... or should I say quite some "Time"toomanyknives wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2023 11:15 pmHa! ? The main drawback with the machine is that it requires an enormous amount of energy to power it. A couple of Chi-com solar panels and a few Bald eagle killing windmills aren't going to get the job done. Solar and wind are great for getting a big fat taxpayer sponsored grant from the Government
but I need more energy than the corrupt and weak-A$$ Green New Deal can provide...

You're always welcome. Although to be totally accurate I was told at a knife show this stamp was from the 19 teens to 1920's so maybe it was between the war years and not actually during WW1. Could be wrong, but that's what I was told and the old iron bolsters and hand hammered pins made it seem plausible. But thanks and anytime I can be of service, you got it.GSPTOPDOG wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2023 12:35 am![]()
You did it I-Man! I knew you would come through

Great tang stamps. Yes, you nailed it!
it looks like the tang stamp shown here is known as Camillus' four-line stamp. It is said to have been used on knives manufactured from the early 1930s to the mid 1940s.
I was not familiar with the Challenge stamps, so good to see itThanks!

Those are cool, TOPDOG! Put some oil on that wood handle! Oh, and I think I'm going to stick to knives, the Washington stuff depresses me!GSPTOPDOG wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2023 1:22 amTMK, that is great ideatoomanyknives wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2023 1:00 amAOC would be glad to procure funding from Congress for you, TOPDOG. ... I hear those US Mint printing presses are running 24/7 ...
there has to be plenty to go around in the interest of Politically Correct Science (PCS) I can tell AOC I will travel back to 1776 and start handing out copies of Marx's "Das Capital" and Mao's "Little Red Book" I should get a couple of billion
for that
And to stay ON topic... BOTH topics that is,here my EDC and some research material to boot ... (or maybe re-boot the Time machine
)
