Please pardon me for answering for John, Iman, but the information I get is that these RPK's/Russian Prison Knives were built during the 1970's-80's, but I don't know if that was during Stalin's reign. I have no reason to doubt the information!

Thanks bud, if it was 70s-80s that would be what, the Brezhnev years? Wasn't Stalin, he died in '53 if I recall correctly without looking it up. But way before this was made. Still appreciate the info and all the best.

Good looking knife Scott. If it were mine I would keep it indoors. Outdoors if dropped you may never find it.

Jtx, That pair is nicely matched. I find the fixed blade Bradford exceptionally impressive.

Thank you Quick Steel. That Bradford is the Guardian 3.2 and the blade steel is CPM MagnaCut.

I find your C-S'er spectacular!
Gorgeous gnarly covers, but I don't know why they made the lanyard hole a crater, it's unnecessary IMO.
That being said, there's no denying your knife's overall beauty, as usual.
