Thanks! I am trying to I.D. the knife, I have two possible makers from one of my books, I might have asked before "help I.D.-ing this knife" a couple of years ago, but I don't remember the results...

Well I'm no help there, but I like the NP stamp. Good luck finding who made it.

A few years back Randy (goldpan) sent this rehandled (made from wine barrel stave) electricians knife. I carry it occasionally.

That’s a nice looking pattern in the grain of the wood and how it runs across the knife. Very nice gift you received!
