All About Pocket Knives

Garage sale finds over the past 2 days:

2 tool kit knives. Top one knife and tools not from same manufactures. Knife from Ulery (Wish I could read the rest of the stamp) and tools made in Germany. Funny that the tools still fit the knife.

Second kit I believe all original complete Utica kit.

3rd picture top to bottom:

1 - Rogers Bone jack knife. No tang stamps that I can see. Not sure if they had been polished off or were never there. I suspect Camillus made??? (Favorite find of the day)

2 - Lakota USA single blade liner lock. Don't know much except for what reference book says: Riverton, WY & Kinsport, TN 1980 - present although I also read somewhere that they are no longer in business.

3 - Camillus Riggers knife. 1989 - closing based on the stamp

4 - Eye brand. Don't know what they call the pattern (Sodbuster?) or the year. Also don't know what the D.R.G.M. stands for on the pile side tang. I suspect marking for Germany?

5 - 1978 Camillus MIL-K

6 - 1976 Imperial MIL-K (Can sure tell the better quality Camillus vs the Imperial)

Rex, the bone handled jack that you show is probably, or at least looks like, a Queen #10. If held at the right angle and in the right light you might be able to see a faint blade etch. Here's one that I have:

Very nice finds fellers.heres my meager pick-up today the steel slab is from Germany,The Pepsi is a Colonial.

The one with the chipped handle is mine, the other nice one, is just a pic I got off ebay or somewhere. Wish the nice knife were mine

I like that 4 blade. It's marked sterling so I wouldn't call it steel. What's the maker's mark on it? Sweet little knife and looks like quality!

That's a Remington. Not in the best of shape, but a Rem is a Rem.

Indeed. They are the same manufacturer (Bernard) as the other ones I have, but this set is smaller.

Indeed. They are the same manufacturer (Bernard) as the other ones I have, but this set is smaller.

DO THEY HAVE A PART NUMBER ON THEM????? so i can identify a pair...i would like to find a pair.

I don't think they are the only ones who make those nippers. Just look for that style of tool, it is very specific looking. I never saw them anywhere for the longest time, then 2 pop up in the last year. They are not a newer tool, I'm not sure if anyone makes anything new like it now.

TJ. I been looking at it for a week and I still can't find the etch. Boss thinks I'm worthless cause I keep looking at it. (By Boss I mean the wife.) Etch must have rubbed off a long time ago. EDC for the last week.

However. I do think it is the Queen because the frame is pretty much an exact match.

You are correct. When I worked for NCR, we used parallel jaw pliers and since they were Bernard brand, we called them Bernards. This is the pair of nippers (used to cut pins and sometimes pull pins) I carried in my tool kit.

Josh, if these are what you're looking for and are not too large, I'd be happy to send them to you. I seriously doubt I'll ever work on a cash register again (it's been 40 years since the last time).
