JD thanks for the input.

I posted a pic of this knife here the other day, and said I was going to take it bowhunting with me over the weekend and edc it for the three days, I did just that and it performed well! Didn't get to use it for any field dressing unfortunately, but did use it for whittling, sharpening pencils, cutting up sausages, sandwiches etc...cutting rope, opening packages of handwarmers etc...and for slicing up some freshly cooked pan fried venison heart from my brother's spike buck! It is officially broken in, and now has some fine memories attached to it.
So here's a pic I snapped of me edc'ing my large Case CV bonestag stockman....in a deer blind in the northwoods of Wisconsin...

Mike it probably did everything you were going to do with it anyway. Had you gotten your deer, don't you think you would have worked it up with that Old Hickory?

Yeah Jerry, the Old Hickory definitely would have gotten the call for the heavy duty skinning and butchering, but I was going to put the Case to the test for the field dressing...initial cut with the clip blade, then use the spey blade to open up the underside without puncturing the stomach...then back to the clip for the dirty work inside and down around the jewels etc....still might get the chance in couple of weeks when gun season rolls around though!

Hope to get north for hunting in a few weekends!

Will be trying to stick with this one for the month. That never works out but what the heck... It's worth a shot.
