A "little" bit of memorabilia that I got from my nephew who lived in Ashtabula Ohio. According to him when he got it the person said it was used by the Norfolk & Western railroad although in what capacity I'm not sure. It is a very large open end wrench with openings of 2 1/8th and 2 3/8ths respectively. Stamped into the midsection are the initials,"N & W". Makes a great door stop.

Pretty cool! Would look good on the garage wall!

Call it an "Attitude Adjuster".

Wow! You guys will like this Model Train World Record made in Hamburg, Germany! The start is cool but the second part, the "behind the scenes" part, is even cooler!

Hope you enjoy!

Cool tunes, Tom!
Brenda and I took a walk Friday afternoon on the C&O Canal and I took some pictures of CSX doing some train building switching by the Evitt's Creek Aqueduct. That's the backside of the Yards Tower, no longer in use and could be torn down in the future. All switching is done remotely now, that's what caused the 50 car derailment last month.

I just wish there weren't so dang many trees in the way. Good thing there aren't leaves on them yet.

CSX 4544 looks to be an EMD SD60AC
Let me see if I have one.

I had a cousin who was Yard Master for Grand Trunk RR it's been computerized many years they could switch rails from Flint clear down to Florida back in the early 90's i always thought it sounded dangerous I also knew the guy doing the switching he was keyed up kind of guy from that job--they both worked all the hours they could in a weeks time--my cousin was on call 24/7

For you train enthusiasts I highly recommend a screening of the 1985 movie Runaway Train starring John Voight. Though it is an action thriller the film gets into some fairly deep psychological and philosophical territory. I found the final scenes to be powerful and affecting providing considerable food for thought.
