All About Pocket Knives

HELLO, I thought that i would attach some old LVKA paperwork. If Anyone has any of this post it here and we can look it over and discuss it.

LVKA was a company started by Herbert Crandall who eventually rolled his Company into WR Case and Sons. Russ Case and Herbert were brothers in Law and Herbert married into the Case family. Herbert and Russ case were both experts in the Cutlery business.

Crandall had the long "C" tang stamp and Case Brothers had the "Tested XX" trademark. Eventually both of these became part of the WR Case and Sons Cutlery company. The Sons in the WR Case were Russell Case and Harvey Platts. Herbert Crandall was also on of the sons. In 1892, H.N. Platts and Debbie Case were married. Herbert Crandall married WR cases daughter Theresa Case.

Friedmann and Lauterjung Paperwork

If anyone is interested in this let me know or if anyone wants to trade. i was looking through my LVKA paperwork and I found this. i thought I sold this awhile ago. Looks like 1882

This morning, my trip to the post office produced this item.
It's a CAMILLUS CUTLERY COMPANY, 75th anniversary (1876-1951), matchbook.
It has NO matches left in it. Overall, it is in VERY GOOD condition.
The "tear" you see is actually a minor crease, magnified by the picture.
Caption(s), if any, are on the BOTTOM of the corresponding picture(s).

That's a little minty 4 blade DE,and a Keen Kutter cattle knife.

How's this for a piece of Cattaraugus and cutlery history, original bank note with a picture of JBF Champlin, Cattaraugus founder and the one that started the Case family in the cutlery business, on the front!! Looks more like a bank note than a check!!
