Found this KAI Chef Knife in pink a couple weeks ago

Scott -- Is that a bug bite in the blade's edge or an anomaly in the picture. Is the knife still sharp?

I finally found a CASE knife today in my travels.
1940 - 1964 Case XX 6225 1/2

Nice old Case, Scott!
Looks like a good one to sharpen up and carry.

Scott, I have one of those 6225 1/2 knives (much newer - made in 2000) that is one of my regular EDC knives - you will like the size; great "gentlemen's" knife and yours is the old Case carbon steel - even better! OH

I also picked up this WESTERN Bird & Trout knife

Those Westerns are great knives Scott.I found a nice Colonial jack and an old Craftsman feeler gage today six buck for both.

Very nice knife finds lately boys I had a great week-end of hunting at flea markets and collectible shops... a couple of nice USA (Case, LF&C, Kingston), Sheffield (IXL, J.U. James, Vulcan Tellin & Co) , German (Altenbach) and a South African? Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised with the Case coke bottle jack
and that Kingston is a fat bottom knife! I have seen them before but I never realized they were that thick.

I made a quick stop at 2 antique stores today, and they really didn't have squat...

Nice haul, Lawrence. I was in Ontario for a couple of weeks last year and checked out quite a few antique shops and flea markets. Didn't find any knives.

Thanks guys, I guess I was lucky this time around. It's usually hit and miss, mostly miss... I must have checked about 15 places because I was by myself, in no hurry, and driving up to cottage country. Now if my wife was with me there would be questions about the number of stops, and the number of knives. cheers
