The stag on this one is just amazing...it’s officially being kept.
Roger that, Mark! Sweet stag on that one indeed. You made the right choice to hang onto it, IMHO. Good looking stag like that is increasingly scarce, it seems. I'm now at the point where I have decided only to accumulate more stag, never sell any...too many I've sold for which I now have seller's remorse. Prices have gone into the stratosphere on some of them (i.e., stag & elk GECs) that I couldn't afford to buy them back now even if they were offered for sale. Same goes for ivory.

That 73 with snakewood is beautiful. I haven’t seen many big knives with snakewood, mostly see it on smaller knives, but I really like it on that bigger knife. The handles look so warm to the touch.
Thank you Ivoryman and Q. I agree Q, after seeing what a great stag collection looks like, I am planning on focusing more on stag myself.

J1890, another score, another beauty. Wow, love that grain and the lanyard tube and the long pull and the nick, stamped blade. Mmmmmmmmmmnnnnnnnn. Congrats again, you just keep nailing it big time.
SharpShiny, must say that is some of the best stag going. Congrats on the score and self control not to have to keep more of that beautiful collection. Wow, keep them coming, loving the show.
Thanks my Friend! I also scored this 72 fat spear in Stag.
I’ve been on a roll but now I’ve gotta slow down

Oh man, that's even better, I love the 72 and those spears were rare and getting rarer. What year is that one? And the price still rising. Congrats, that is a fabulous score. Man that's a cool knife, got my drool and envy soaring. Congrats.

This is my second 93 in Cocobolo wood. I have another one in Cocobolo with nice grain, but not quite as nice as this one. I love that dark area that looks like Mt Fuji.

The other side has a nice wood grain peak too. That is some fabulous grain. Beautiful knife period. But I think that about almost every GEC. Congrats, beautiful thing to behold.

Thanks Ivoryman. I learned that when you see a stag or wooden handle that is especially nice, you better move on it when you can or you will miss out.

This one came in late today. I decided to focus more on these Boy’s knives. I missed this one in 2018, so I was glad to be able to pick this one up. I like the no brass construction of these knives. If I could, I would eliminate all brass pins and liners on every knife I have. Always amazed at how little I need to clean a knife with no brass, the whole knife seems to be more tarnish resistant.

Picked up this 82 Stockman at the Great Eastern Rendezvous last weekend, it was in the store case, have no idea why it was a store model as it is perfect, only thing I can figure is the pinkish hue to the stag, I think it is a gorgeous knife.

Mark, a most attractive #14 and an excellent profile on the clip blade. I know many people like a Wharncliffe blade but for all-round usefulness you cannot beat a clip blade and i sure like the one on your Boy's knife. It is similar to the clip on my #56 from 2010.
And JohnR, i'm pretty sure the "S" on your Rendezvous #82 is for "Special", super special actually !

I agree Roland. This is a nice blade. The bone handles are really nice on this one.
John that is an interesting looking stag for sure on that 82. It is unique and looks nice.

My favorite pattern for a folding knife is one with 2 blades and 1 spring. It requires perfect design and expert workmanship so that blades lie snug in the well but have no blade rub and for the spring tension to be just right which is a bit stiffer on the larger master blade and softer for the smaller secondary.
Here are 2 fine examples. One is a 3 5/8" #130217, "Clerk" which i just received from Mark (Sharpnshinyknives). This knife has half stops and a long 3" Wharncliffe master blade. Quite impressive !
The other is one of my most favorite GEC's, a 2 7/8" Sleeveboard pen knife, #092214. In true pen knife fashion there are no half stops. It is a true "Gent's" pocket knife.

Thank you Floyd, although Mark is the person who deserves the thanks. The #13 is a pattern i did not take much interest in when they first came out in 2017. I 'discovered' it in the pictures posted by Mark and am lucky to have snagged this one before someone else claimed it.
It would make for a fine & capable EDC.

$#@%&!!!!! you just keep pulling in the pretties and love the 15 shield. Was just wondering why GEC hadn't made any 10 or 15 year commemoratives. Well they did and you nailed it. Absolutely beautiful bone and the boys knife and every one a treat to see. GEC rocks it for me. Congrats and man you make some envy. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
