All About Pocket Knives

A buddy of mine owns an old hardware store - he no longer sells hardware, but uses the building for another business. The attic is full of old hardware fixtures, displays, etc. I asked him a couple of years ago if he remembered seeing any knife displays. He recently found this one and gave it to me today - not marked by brand, so it could have been built by a hardware distributor for any number of knives - (last ones in there were "your choice, $3.95"). It is in pretty good shape, gonna clean it up and put it back in service as a display piece for my collectible knives. He also has this clock hanging in his storeroom - notice the emblem on the clock face. OH

I noticed you said the clock was still hanging in his storeroom...you must not be trying that hard.

dogg -- Have you considered a SAK Electricians knife as a work knife? I received mine (finally) today and I can see where it would lend it's self to the uses an electrician would put it to. Don't know if it would hold up to everyday use, but...

Check out this lot I scored today at the flea market. The knife is a Robeson 622056 with suhweeeeet strawberry bone handles!

Somebody was awful mean to that Robeson! Nice Bone however!

ON A THOMPSON SUB MACHINE GUN WW2 MANUAL ,I ALSO FOUND THERE

A fellow at work gave me this one today. 6 1/8" closed, heavily used, stamped J.W.STUTTER on all blades (hard to make out on some). I posted more photos and comments in the military knives thread.

Picked these up at estate sales and incoming mail today.....

That fixed blade is an OLCUT, the sheath is poor but the knife is near mint.....just needs to be cleaned!!

I thought I'd provide a closer view of the bone handled camp knife:

I wondered around in Lowes yesterday. I should not a done it but I could not resist.
I picked up a Kershaw OD-2. 3 and 1/8 length closed. 5 and 3/8 overall. 2 and 1/8 cutting edge.
I never knew what size these were. CUTE little bugger.

Scaled up to 4" size it would be a neat knife!
