Hey!! Those skivvies were boot camp issue and I have to get some use out of them since they don't fit anymore. ::uc::

Cool pictures Scott - those are two very nice vintage knives - we composed too. I bought myself a new Case knife Tuesday and have yet to take a picture - the weather has been so dark, rainy, foggy, etc., I can't get a sharp shot (maybe today). OH

::shrug:: roofsc, It appears the "cs" was put on your knife after being completed , which could be a cosmetic second, don't know for sure though. Yours is the first one I was seen. I have had several older Western seconds, and the factory ground off the "Western" stamp. Your Case is a nice knife and I can't see anything wrong with it, looks good. ::handshake:: Terry

With Case Classics anything is possible.

Scott - very nice knives, very nicely photographed. Good patina on those.

Roofsc - that knife sure looks good to be a cosmetic second. I have never seen Case with that stamp before. Here is a link to someone asking the same question back in 2006. Two other possible meanings were suggested: custom sample and carbon steel.

Nice shot with the knife and foreground/background Ivoryman. ::tu::

I posted these elsewhere, but thought I would add them here also. I took a walk in the woods today with my camera & tripod, and a pocket full of Tuna Valley knives.

Rookie - those are beautiful photos of beautiful knives!

Scott - your photo reminds me of a comment my Yeats. A poet may spent hours getting one line of a poem just right: but if it does not seem like just a casual thought, then the hours of work were not done right. That photo of the BSA gear looks so simple. And perfect.
