Found these the other day. 1 from a pawn shop & the other from an antique store. Both of them had some rust forming so I cleaned them up and gave em a forced patina. It doesn't look like either one has been sharpened.

I'm not real partial to composition or celluloid handles but the Moore Maker is actually growing on me. It may make the EDC rotation if I can convince myself that I really don't need the scout I'm currently carrying.

Found these today all at the same yard sale.

I swung thru the flea's to spend some end of week money and gut a Imperial Kamp King mint still has packing grease on the pivots and a Leatherman squirt she may replace the Vic on my key ring.

Just got this trade in the mail from a fellow AAPK. Blade a little down but I am very happy. A nice XX 61093 in Greenbone. It's nice to meet new friends on this site. Thanks for letting me share this one.

I went out looking for a Case Texas Jack with grooved bolsters (they made a nice "modern" green jigged bone run a couple of years ago) - found one in brick red winter bottom bone with the bolsters I wanted. But in a surprise find I also found one knife left from a 2002 set - all single blade versions of other patterns - this is the 6147 with an early amber bone - sort of oatmeal looking on the ends. Both snap great too. OH

Had one of these 2011 BF Forum knives and sold it, wished I hadn't.......but was able to score this one to replace it.

Thanks for the compliments gents. I'm scrolling AAPK this morning, looking at everyone's treasures - very nice knives on this page. Nick that old Case green bone is really special, isn't it! IM, I've looked around for that Blade forum knife too, might be the best of their series (of which all have been good choices). Rex, the blade shape on your Puma has always appealed to me - has anyone here used one on a deer? Dogg, nice, a brand new Camp King - amazing how many of those have survived - but usually pretty worn when I find them. OH

Wasn't going to get one of these GEC #22's because of the size.....but liked the Stag on this one too much....

Them 22 are small but EVER SO FINE looking!

Bought a couple of knives at a local gun show last month and a couple more at a large gun show in Calgary, last weekend.
From top to bottom:
Cattaraugus 225Q, all polished up with a new sheath, bought to use
A custom fixed blade by a young local fellow just starting out in knifemaking
W.H. Morley and Sons, Germany, pen knife
a custom damascus linerlock by a fellow from British Columbia

Two, count them, two gun shows in the Puget sound area today!

Ok, First three knives I paid a total of $30 for at the Tacoma Dome gun show. They are a red bone, Case XX single dot 62027, a Kutmaster Utica barlow S-2 and a three bladed Western S-6504 stockman. All three have good snap to the blades and all handles are worn but good condition. The Kutmaster handles though I bought to replace them with some wood. At the WAC gun show I think I found the best deal of the day for me. It is a bone handled Remington RH75 fixed bladed hunting knife that dates to pre-WWII. I suspect the original owner replaced the handle at one time but I don't care. The blade has a beautiful patina and is not worn out at all. Last purchase of the day is a two bladed Camillus #16 jack I picked up at a flea market today for $10.

That model did come with a stag handle, does it have a round nickle silver cap at the butt end?

It does but I thought the pommel on a Remington of that era looked more like that of a Western pommel. Am I mistaken or were there different variations?

This just came today and I am already working on the patina and have it in my pocket
