Hi.....
Tom, sorry about the delay in responding to your post.
It's a nice looking pocket knife.
Your too late Skip!

Just joking around Buddy!

I just wanted to show it to you because I thought it would go along well with your beautiful collection of OCC knives IMO.
You know how the saying goes Skip, "don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things!"
Glad your here, I enjoy your posts, I enjoy seeing your collections, especially the group pictures, have a great weekend my friend!
(Looking at your group of OCC knives to me, is like looking at a big "stringer of keepers" or a 12 pointer. Just puts one of those big sheet eatin grins on my face!

)

Two trappers and a 99
I actually bought back the trappers, I already knew they were tip top so it was a easy purchase to make

Stunning!!!
Are the Trappers XX era? I noticed that the top one has a "Tall S" on the shield (like the 99) and the bottom one has a "Block S"

I finally gave in and got myself a 1990 Case 240WHSS 1st Issue Dogleg Trapper. To be honest, I wasn't particularly attracted to this pattern because to me it looks like an oversize mutant Peanut.

But, I really like my 207WHSS 1st Issue collection so I thought I'd give this pattern a try. Of course, the Wharncliffe blade was the clincher. Now I need to find the matching serrated Wharncliffe model (although I don't know if that model was ever even made).

Really like that blade combo, they look great together. Love a couple full sized blades on that size knife. Nice score

Wow!

Some really nice looking knives being shown here everyone! Awesome!
I just got one that I'm very proud of.

EWMailman (Garland) sent me this beautiful 1976 4-dot Whittler for Christmas as a "Secret Santa" gift. It has great snap and beautiful bones!

This is the first Case Whittler that I have and I'm just tickled pink about it!

Thanks Garland!
Thanks for looking friends!

Nice one, jerryd...I love the Antique bone and the little (propeller? bowtie?) shield. Very classy looking 07.

Excellent knives, Tom, Jerry and Q! That -40 pattern dogleg is one of my favorite patterns, I keep hoping and wishing Case would release it from the vault and do a year's worth of variations. I can't see how they wouldn't sell a bunch of these; very classic, perfect size and I love the blades.

Thanks, 1967rr...the 6240 is a curvy/sexy/cool handful of a knife...I imagine it would be quite a pocketful as well...If I were ever to EDC it I would definitely have to consider using a belt sheath.
The Spay blade looks like a mini-machete to me
