Eight nice knives! I especially like those three with scrolled, or carved, bolsters.

Week 26 was an all Case week. Ten knives total, but every one a beauty.

I am a bit chagrined to admit this, but I am pretty much at the end of my Wharncliffe cutlery. I will have to scavenge the oxidizing detritus in my desk crannies and drawers for anything I may have forgotten.

So many nice, and a few unusual Whanrcliffes. Hope they don't elevate my KAS level.

Interesting to note that while all the knives posted this week are Case production knives, between the Seahorse Whittler, Swayback Gent and Copperhead, there are three distinct styles and sizes of Wharncliffe blades.

Yes... A nice variety of Case this week. I does seem that Case has been dominating this thread recently, which is not a bad thing, but I will plan to mix it up next week.

In continuation of the non-Case theme, here's a Queen #01 ACSB Swaybelly Wharncliffe Trapper with the T.C.Collectibles “lightning bolt anvil” pile side blade etch:

Kevin - The stag on that Northfield is gorgeous. A great pair of GECs.

Q - Beautiful Queen. Very nice anvil and lightning bolt etch.

I was able to find a knife for today. I used to carry this Gerber in a belt pouch at work. It shows the evidence of years of use. I hesitate to say it is a Wharncliffe. I do not think that this blade is what Shakespeare had in mind when Lear declaimed "Snap closed the thick rotundity of the Wharncliffe."

Here’s a Pacific hardware and steel stamped on both blades . Oil the joints stamped on the file . Was a West coast company from 1903 until 1917/18 or thereabouts. Pearl remains in good condition even after more than 100 years since it was made . Not sure who made it for them . Seem to recall it was Napanoch ? The TL 29 mod was done by a member ( gold-pan) some years ago . Not sure it is really a wharnie but it got included in pics .

Been a pretty slow Wharncliffe Wednesday, so I'm adding a couple Queen Sharp Fans ACSB Wharncliffe Trappers.

Good job digging deep and finding that old warrior, Mel. I'll be running out of new Wharnies to post myself soon enough....might only have a few weeks left before my Wharnie well runs dry, too

JP, always enjoy seeing those old vintage survivors I'm also a huge fan of Wharnie mods (as Lansky1 can attest )

Aloha Q! As you know, they made a bunch under the Schatt & Morgan name, but now that you mention it, I guess they didn't do very many under the Queen name. Here are a few I found... A 99 DFC more commonly seen with the Schatt name, another Swaybelly, and a couple little two blade 46s in Pearl & Abalone. I have a bunch of Queen made Schatt & Morgan Wharnies, but never really considered how many were made under the Queen name.

Ah yes, the #99 Executive Jack and #46 Mini Copperhead, both of which I have owned in the past Mahalo for helping jog my failing memory

Living where I do in the westernmost part of the country means I have the privilege of counting down the final hours and minutes of every Wharncliffe Wednesday and putting it to bed for another week.

Very nice pair of knives, JP. It seems kind of surprising that a barehead MOP handle has survived for a century without a crack.

Can't believe it's already Wharncliffe Wednesday again. These weeks are flying by way too fast. Here are a group of Wharncliffe Copperlocks along with a Tank Fisher modified, Dual Blade, Double Action Auto Wharncliffe Copperlock with Stag covers that came from the Big Island and deserves to be photographed all by itself.
