After drinking that glass... ::paranoid:: ... I would advise NOT lighting any matches and avoiding any open flame for a while ::paranoid::

::hmm:: ...Nothing like a little "liquid gold" for the new year..... ::suspense::

OMG! Nothing like Mad Dog & Tbird to bring flashbacks of the late 60’s. Was just visiting with a friend yesterday and they came up for discussion Myself, I was a Boonesfarm gal. Old acquaintance best forgot!

All of the above at one time or another. Sad to say that now, it's none of the above. ::teary_eyes::

I will be trying that Desert Colt very soon. I’m going to look for it while out running errands tomorrow.

A friend told me that it’s the new name for what used to be called “Uncut The Younger “ but I never tried that before the name change so it will be new to me regardless.

::hmm:: Hmmm... a bottle of Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill Fruit Wine, 🍾 an empty park bench, a nice semi-clean piece of cardboard, ::paranoid:: ambient air temperature above freezing ::paranoid:: .... ::groove:: who could ask for anything more? ::shrug:: ... 🥂

Trying out the Desert Colt for the first time tonight. I like it considering the $40 price tag and the 116 proof. Take the price out of the equation and I think it’s just okay.

I think I could probably tell that it’s a young bourbon even if I didn’t know it but for the price, I will surely buy this again.

There’s a very good chance that I will like it even more when I finish this pour, if y’all know what I mean.

Bali Hai was my go-to, but I was also known for downing Red Ripple and Falstaff "Boilermakers" on occasion. And spent a while drinking Spanada in unreasonable quantities.

Now I drink mostly NA beer and bourbon, in limited quantities.

Falstaff, Yuck! Had a friend that worked for the distributor. When I was broke I could get it free from him. If I ever had it given to me again I’d pour it down the drain.

Sadly I can no longer drink beer or bourbon. They both give me uncontrollable diarrhea. :( ::facepalm::

Dang, Jerry. That is unfortunate. Sorry to hear that but it’s good that you are listening to your body when it speaks to you.

Still sorry to hear it though.

But Falstaff came in 14 oz. cans for the price of all the other cheap 12 oz. options. Like “Buy 6, Get 1 Free”. When I wasn’t drinking Falstaff, it was Busch or PBR.

Thank you. That 125 doesn't drink near as hot as you might expect. It has become my favorite Benchmark.

I picked up this Smoke Wagon Private Barrel on my statewide delivery route on Thursday. Only available at the Riverton Party Store in Riverton, Illinois.

The yellow scales on the Super Tinker are aftermarket scales that come with a third hole for the supplied pen in case you need something to write with. Oddly enough, I have never needed this pen when I had this knife in my pocket but I have when I didn’t.
