I was hesitant to buy and add this knife to my collection because of the model # 666 stamped on the blade ,but the bone stag handles were to nice to pass on .

- Western boulder co .fixed blade (1958-60 )

Devilishly cool bones on that baby. It's not like you're a rock star embroidering that # on your clothes for some bizarre reason. It was already there and happenstance. Glad you scored it, that is a fabulous looking knife even a knife fiend would love.

Thanks Millers Bro, appreciate it. Love the old Schrade and Case. Here's some decent red bone I picked up today on the Clip point 62087 and some recent on the 62014 1/2. I really like the old jigging too. Thanks again.

Thanks my friend, it's nice of you to say that. I could sit and admire them, or carry and use them, which I do and do enjoy that, but the main reason I'm on AAPK is I like taking pics for other people who like looking at them and browsing or checking them out. I like seeing other people's knives, or knives that I don't have and seeing creative photos so you tickled me with your comments. Thanks, good to know and I'll keep 'em coming to hopefully entertain or interest those who like me, like looking at other knives. Thanks again.

I definitely enjoy checking in when I have time to look at all the great looking knives posted in this thread. Just looked through the last couple of pages and there are some real beauties posted by everyone! I've always been more of a fan of stag, but I may need to broaden my search to start looking for more of the old bones.
As for the creative pictures, I love looking at them as well and may need to get some of mine outside when I'm not working all the time to spice up my pics. a bit.
