Very very nice

This one just happens to be in my pocket today: Sword Brand by Camillus, 3 7/8" closed. I'm guessing the covers are some Indian type of true stag. Nice thin stockman, easy in the pocket.

While I'm here today...

This family Schrade Walden 881 (recent gift from MIL) sent me off on a flurry of knife buying. I'm picking up well-loved knives from vintage and junk stores, plus extending my EDC and work knife options with some new folders. This New York Knife Co Hammer Brand just got its clip and sheepsfoot blades re-profiled after I got some good advice from Treefarmer over on a broken/beater knife thread. Nice snappy action, it will be an in-town EDC favorite.

Stag handled, FOR CUTTING FLESH on the spey blade, 32175 Cattaraugus.

Got this non-shell handle Imperial Stockman with punch blade here recently from Myron. It's 3 1/2" closed.

I have long been intrigued by Imperials that aren't shell handles. This one is really well built. The clip and spey both have swedges, and the knife has some strong walk and talk.

The insides of the back springs aren't finished, and the shield isn't pinned, but otherwise, it's the quality I expect out of a pre-WWII knife. This one was meant to be an EDC, but I think it will end up as a collection knife like the bone-handle punch-blade Western it was supposed to replace.

32189SC Cattaraugus with FOR CUTTING FLESH ONLY on the spey blade. Round shield means it has the punch blade. I bought this at a knife show in Iowa at least 30 years ago.
