I never really watched MASH that often. Work always conflicted when it was on and I never really got into taping TV shows.

Sometimes all you have to date a knife is by the advertising on it. The link and info below dated this knife somewhere between 1896-1907 at the very least it's 110 years old at the most 121 years old. Looks pretty good for 120 year old knife. I'll have to take a picture of the blades, they're both full blades

This is an example of what's still out there in boxes at yard sales and flea markets for a couple of $ Also it shows how powerful of a tool the internet is in identifying and important any information can be in putting a date to a knife.

Another Oldie from about 100 years ago, Robeson hand Hammered German Silver pocket bar knife.
Finally a Custom David Winston Damascus Keyring Knife.

I posted this unique and rare to find Billings & Spencer all metal knife yesterday along with background in the General Discussion but no doubt belongs here as well. Knurled metal handle and sliding pin mechanism for this combination knife screw driver. B&S only made knives from 1890-1914 and this knife has both the 1892 and 1896 patent dates. It was marketed towards sportsman as noted in this Forest and Stream ad from 1903 -

Picked up this Wolfertz, pretty solid old knife.

Here’s a few of my favorite all metal queens. A joe z original cock fighting knife, a very old sterling Schatt with a mechanical pencil tube on the side and a rare Queen City metal knife (body is all one heavy piece)

Nice knives Joe ... That melon tester with metal handles must have been a top of the line pattern is my guess - I haven't seen many of that pattern with fancy nice handles like your Klaas (sweet ) though I would guess others may exist - just haven't seen any ...

Thanks Joe, it looks to be unsharpened and just laid down in a drawer for most of it's life when I found it.

Here are three I have, a Case stainless steel framed stockman with high carbon blades. A Schrade Walden pipe knife for Abercrombie & Fitch and a Wenger Tahara Swiss Army Knife for Neiman Marcus.
