tree farmer......as wullie stated they are into the liner. that was like there trademark back in the day

Here's a Ney York Knife co. Walden. It's 3 1/2" closed. Bottom bolster is engraved with NYC. Maybe you could help me date it?

First of all, I think you'd call that a beauty. As far as a knife name, I'd call it a Serpentine Teardrop Jack. How can anyone not be entranced by that swedged spear blade with the long pull. Marvelous.

Here's a NY Knife Walden Stag trapper. I feel the tang stamps make it newer. Plus it has U.S.A. stamped on the rear tang of the main blade.

I am not positive but that may be one of the commemoratives Schrade did.
Eric, Dimitri, LT or Hal may know.

I agree it looks like a newer stamp. I don’t see any pins in the bolsters. If Schrade made it, it would be made with the Swinden key, so there would be no visible pins in the bolsters.

I think that commemorative edition came from the 1990's but not positive. There was a 4" stockman too. I had one with the original box and paperwork a couple years ago. It was distributed with "Made by Imperial Schrade" on the packaging. I thik there was a muskrat pattern as well.
