Knice! Those Cutco knives enjoy a robust following; my Wife even has some. The shears are great. I have always favored that type of sheath. Ruana and Buck have used them as well.

I too had never seen one like that, tongueriver. And that was why I picked it up.

Ken, the Marbles logo is on the tang on the other side. This knife was done for Ducks Unlimited.

Here is another Marbles. I like the blade shape particularly. I also consider the lower guard as used here to be ideal both for its practicality and beauty.

Spyderco Mule Team 35, CPM-Magnacut.
CPM-Magnacut was designed by Larrin Thomas to be a very balanced steel specifically for knives. I became really interested in Magnacut as a work knife steel, as it was very tough, corrosion-resistant, and wear-resistant at the same time. So, naturally, I had to buy the first (well, semi-) mass-produced knife produced in it. A Native 5 in Magnacut is coming up later this year, and I plan to purchase it.
I hadn't carried it at all, and at $75, it has cost more than any other knife in my collection. It had been parked as I had no good way to carry it. The handles and sheath Spyderco produces together cost double (and as of a recent price increase, actually $10 more) the cost of the knife itself. I decided to change that, as it was bought for a work knife; not a shelf queen.
I had this "Chipaway Cutlery" knife in my collection I'd been given by a relative. It was a POS, but the sheath fit the Mule Team perfectly. I took out the belt loop, as it wasn't on good, and the knife is pocketable in jeans. I will probably pick up a better one for belt carry from my local knife store or online.

Looks like the sheath is going to be a very practical application.

I picked this small knife a couple months ago and I'm very happy with it. I would describe it as delightful to handle.
It's a Briza "Necker 70" with Ivory micarta scales. Not sure if I have posted photos before.

Thank you Marco and John. The current Bush Ranger is an entirely different knife. The blade on mine is 7 1/2". I follow the philosophy of the late Bowie master Bill Bagwell that a true Bowie will have a minimum blade length of 9 1/4". At that length the laws of physics provide some remarkable advantages.

Marco, if you care to pursue this I recommend Bagwell's "Bowies, Big Knives and the best of Battle Blades."
