Ivoryman and GSPTOPDOG, is there a reason you don't support the site($20 is very little)? You sure like using the server space for your pics.
Well now Montanaman, I'll tell you what... I have more than one computer, multiple SD cards and three external hard drives. So, I don't need AAPK for their server space. In fact, I don't need to post a single picture here at all. I just thought people visiting this site like knives and especially like to look at pictures of knives. So, I go out of my way to try and take halfway decent and interesting pictures to add something to the AAPK site. However, it appears I was mistaken and that I have turned into some kind of freeloader and loaf-about, not paying my own fair share, not pulling my weight as would appear to be.
Well, don't let my freeloader appearance fool you Montanaman, because I have handed over more money to the AAPK site in the form of commissions from my store then you have forked over as a supporting member and that is a 100% guaranteed... hundreds and hundreds of dollars from me each year. I don't need to sell here; I have all the business I can handle elsewhere. However, I really like this site and most of the people on this site and having a store is nice option. But maybe those hundreds of dollars each year don't really count...

because YOU say so!
Now, I will try and cut down on the pictures of my beat-up old knives that I was posting, just to leave more server space for your fancy high-dollar knives that you like to post.

Those knives you use to "skin hogs with" that don't have a detectable scratch or the slightest blemish, or mark or patina on them... even after skinning all of them big 'Ol hogs out there in the Bad-Lands of Montana

. I'll save the space on AAPK's poor old worn-out, overloaded server for your "classy" pictures.
Top dog Iβll Take and enjoy your pics of old well used knives any day nothing like a used knife it tells a story

Nice duos, Ivory and gard!
Totin' a 4154AC, I guess orange is the color of the day. Supposed to be hot, who can't use more AC?

A post by Ken jogged my memory about these Kickstarts- assisted, liner lock and a pocket clip.

Iβve been carrying these high dollar Sodbuster Jr lately, it feels comfortable in the pocket, I think I pulled it out of a gun safe buy over the last few months, I looked through all my knives here looking for one with CV blade, I guess I have never had one. But I put one on order.

Like the jigged covers on both knives. The Cattle Knife has lots of appeal for me, geocash.

Buck and Bull Nose
Like the Bull nose, and love the burlap micarta on the Buck. What pattern is the Buck by the way? I like those two blade choices and especially if it's set up on one spring. Great pair.
It's a 301. It was the BOTM knife for 09-21. It's two springer. This knife has become a real favorite with me!

Thanks for the info and pics. Good looking knife and appreciate the info. Have a great one.

Thanks, Quick Steel. I have more Stockman than any other pattern so they must be my favorite, but Cattle Knives are right up there. I especially like the symmetry of the pattern.

Thanks G-Dog! I appreciate it

It is the use and wear marks that make the tool really yours in a sense. I look at ding on the back of Buck 110 and that was where I hit the spine to spit a small piece of wood. That use puts memories into the tool so to speak and makes a connection between the user and the tool. Well...

that's the theroy anyhow...

Personally very stunned by that call out in a thread MontanaMan.
I have been here over 10 years and not a current paying member or really active.
Guess how much I have donated and raised with the help of members? Search "auction" on my posts. Not looking for a pat on the back but unbelievable to me that post was made. Judge with no idea beyond a surface membership banner?
I have donated at least 20 or so highly desirable knives here. Guess where the money went, yet no current membership? As I said. I am not surprised yet stunned on that call out.
IM and Topdog, ignore it! Unfortunately being a long time member and knowing we all love knives, I could not stay silent.
Regards. Jerry

I think you either like them or hate them, no middle ground with this pattern.

Looks good to me, rider! I only have one Russlock in my collection. I donβt dislike them - just have several other patterns I tend to gravitate toward when Iβm buying.

I've never handled a RussLock, so I'll hold off on evaluating anything other than their looks until I get one in hand. Maybe that's some sort of middle ground?
I can say everyone is carrying some nice knives, as is customary!

I recommend the less common Spear blade Russlock.

Thanks, Tim.
