Whats your opinion on them?

Hey Johnnie, sorry for the late response ... the Busse's I have handled are quite simply built like tanks!
They have three "families" within the line:
Busse - premier line - INFI steel, biggest following, highest $$
Swamp Rat - Various steels, solid build, parallel patterns to the Busse's (more or less)
Scrap Yard - Tough heavy use knives, various steels (including some INFI) more user-friendly pricing
To me the Swamp Rat's represent the best value balance ... YMMV.
Bottom line: Cost of admission ain't cheap, but what quality knife is? They're solid, ergos are good, and they're definitely built to take on some work! The Custom Shop puts out some sweet exotic trimmings as well ...
I suspect I will own a few more before its over ...

Hey Guys! I'm supper excited to see this! My little brother works at Busse right here in NW Ohio! As of this year he's the one makin all yer Scrap yard knives. Glad to see these knives getting the approval of my fellow AAPKers. Little bro has made me a couple of my own and you are right, they are absolutly made like tanks! Just can't bust em, and sharp as all get out. great steel, and great craftsmanship, glad you enjoy them.

This NOS factory condition Camillus 69 was in yesterday's mail. It's a 197x-198x and they stopped gimping the liners on the Deluxe Stockman's at some point before this knife was made, which disappointed me. I thought the gimping was a classy touch. For a stockman, I do like the knife though. I think it's that California/Turkish/Muskrat clip blade that does it for me.

Nice one Jerry
Picked up these two 54's from Caleb.

Both are in really good condition and still have most of their blade etch. I hadn't actually carried any of my gec's for fear of messing them up. Yeah I know "what a wuss". Anyway these were already used so now I don't have an excuse. The big jack is in my pocket right now

I cleaned them up a bit with some flitz and touched up the blades to give me a starting point to put some use and pocket ware of my own on them.
I tried to take picks that would show how well they cleaned up but as usual my pictures never do a knife justice
He also suprised me with a buck, case, boker and camillus.
Thanks Johnny twoshoes

Thanks OH
It has taken the place of my usual 4" stockman for the last several days. It's a beast at 4 1/8"" but it's a tad thinner than my usual MGC edc stag stockman, which is a full 3/4" thick. I haven't been carrying a GEC. I would rather carry a less expensive knife but this knife has been getting a lot of "dang what kind of knife is that?" around town. I'll still carry my stockman but this GEC is still in my pocket today.
It's a 542208 if you were wondering.

Cutty, that "Big Jack" really is a beauty … hard to make yourself carry it, hard not to …
Here is another patten on the same frame that you don't see very often - the Big Horn …

Just received this 8OT in the mail Schrade NY USA on one side of blade and 8OT on the other side. This is different because the Schrade Waldens had 8OT on the opposite side. You could say this knife was made in 1972 or 1973 Because the later Schrade NY USA had the 8OT on the same side.

Shearer...I don't know a whole lot about Schrade's...but I would assume your 8OT is what is referred as a transitional knife....Good score.
Phillip...I like all 3 of your new acquisitions...especially those 2 Kickn' Chickn's .

After telling my Uncle about Grampa's 125ot I found at camp he delivered a Schrade Walden whittler Red bone to me from my Grampa.
