Nice! I have quite a few of them kicking around here (since autos are now legal here, a Predator is certainly joining the bunch) and they're pretty nice. Got most of mine on sale from a woodworking supply dealer in MO who had their entire stock of Mikov knives for like 75% off.
I think the plastic Mikov uses on most modern knives is ABS. Not FRN, but it holds up.

Been meaning to ask you, John. The edge on these blades is wicked, and holding up great. What's your technique? What are you using to sharpen? What angle?

Steve.. That knife was sharp when I bought it so I never touched it..

There are two versions, (that I have) the smaller one (4") has a liner lock and another small lever that must be manipulated in order to operate
the liner lock.
The lager one (4 5/8") is a frame lock and is a much better system in my opinion.
