Dang! Sweet bomb there Q

Love seeing the generosity on this Forum! Congrats on those, Q! And good vibes to Kevin and Scott for their generosity!

So here I was, sitting quietly at my home, and get notice that a bomb had hit my local post office! Well, I get in the truck to go see what had hit it and low and behold.....it was a shot from Hawaii to the mainland, right into the Ozarks and a direct hit into my PO box..
My Thanks to QT for sending this to me. I am very grateful and it goes right along with Old Hickory kitchen knives I have from my grandfather. As Col. Potter use to say on M*A*S*H..."Much obleeged, QT!"

Full disclosure, I did not act alone in the deployment of that Old Hickory bomb Sasquach supplied the ordinance, I merely dropped it on the target coordinates. It was a double cross-country, bi-lateral bombing from MD to HI to MO


And speaking of Sasquach.....

Crafty old Charlie must've thought he'd also attempt to tie up loose ends and eliminate the only witness who could link him to this bombing because at about the same time that Old Hickory was landing on MissouriGuerrilla, and just as I was sitting back smugly congratulating myself on a successful bombing mission, he blasted me with this bad boy bunker buster bomb Man alive, the rate at which the bombs are falling around here, I might have to move somewhere safer, like Iran, where there are fewer bombs to worry about Big MAHALO to you, Squach You nailed it with the Stag and Wharncliffe combo…..(I think my secret is out )

Well, gents, I'm walking around now barefoot, having had my shoes and socks blown clean off!

My wife just returned home from helping her mother for the last 10 days (1 year knee replacement anniversary), so I thought I had better get the mail. And low and behold . . . All I can say is, WOW!!!

I need to look this Fight'N Rooster up in my handy reference book, and I have been eyeballing one of these NYKCo. Hammer Brand Scouts for a few months now.

Just remember, bombs work both ways so consider yourself warned!

I’m here to report that Oak Island North Carolina was struck overnight by ordinance fired from the big island of Hawaii. It was a retaliatory attack that was totally unprovoked and unnecessary, but no lives were lost during the incident.

Seriously, yesterday I was blessed with beautiful RoseCraft with a Wharnie blade from the famous bombardier known as Q. As is my protocol with all gifted Knives, it will remain in my permanent collection and handed down to one of my boys at the appropriate time. In the meantime, she’ll be softly nested in the leather slip that recently came off my workbench.

Thank you Q, I love you like a brother Tom.

Another great shot, Q! I thought you had gotten that DJB with the Vintage Blue Snake Creek Copperhead and was wondering why you were only posting the Blue. Now I know why, and never surprised by your continued generosity.

I have yet another awesome BOMB to report and this one is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face It certainly did to mine.....and I'm still smiling from ear to ear as I write this

Back in 2019 I posted an Ivory Bulldog in the Mini TrapPER DIEM thread that Quick Steel, being a Bulldog collector, expressed an interest in. He subsequently purchased the knife from me to add to his epic Bulldog collection. Fast forward seven years and I see a post by Garry in which he talks about his waning interest in collecting knives and how he is now more concerned with how he will eventually dispose of his collection. When I read that post, I remembered the Ivory Mini-T he bought from me all those years ago and I reached out to him offering to buy it back if he still had it. He did, but here's the kicker: he refused to take any payment for it and he sent it right back to me; wouldn't even let me cover the cost of shipping.

What a cool guy, huh!

But cool Ol' QS didn't stop there, oh no inside the package with the Ivory Mini Trapper he also included another Ivory Bulldog knife, a small Stockman pattern, just for good measure That was an unexpected but most pleasant surprise

Wowww ... what a Bomb Drop Garry! Congrats 'Q'!

I have been a bit busy and wanted to get a good picture before I posted this.
I was officially Bombed by our own (I must never sleep) Tom TCJR Leather Works, Bestgear. Tom the person who handles club knives, give away’s, pictures in the morning from the beach, knife slips wallets and I’m sure I don’t know how much he does. Hence the never sleep comment.
Thank you again for the gorgeous knife slips and now for the beautiful Bomb a 3U wallet. The two slips and wallet are all getting pocket time. I will have two slips and my new wallet in my pocket most of the time. When I get the third slip one will get a break.
Feast your eyes on this 3U wallet and get at least one of his beautiful slips for carrying your nice knives.
I can not thank you enough for all that you do for this best of the best forum’s and I am not even a true knife collector.

Ol' bestgear Tom has been pretty busy laying down suppressing fire with his leatherwork strafing runs.....I love my TCjr 3U card wallets and the multiple knife slips he sent are getting a lot of use, too. Excellent 'Bomb' from an excellent dude to a most worthy recipient.....kudos all around

I’m glad Steve & Q are enjoying their TCJR U3Wallets that are Uncluttered, Understated, and Utilitarian. While my creations are largely aimed at knives, I occasionally step outside my norm to make a wallet or two. Carry them in good health and with good vibrations. Peace!

Q You did play a part in this as well. You Bombed Tom with that beautiful Rose Craft. Then he posted it with the basket weave slip and I was sold.
I will take this opportunity one more time to say.
If you like to carry any of your knives or need a wallet Tom is the man. Turnover time is incredibly fast as well.

There's just something really attractive about the choil / index finger cutout on that model Q - that might be the MOAB !
