So the story behind this knife is..
In 1983 we traveled cross country on my HD to the coast.. On the way back we stopped at the Grand Canyon.. While there went into a little gift shop where I spotted this knife.. At the time I thought it was too pricey.. We left the store but the wife snuck back and purchased it and had it shipped to our house.. That Christmas it was under the tree.. Man.. Was I surprised..
A gift I will ALWAYS cherish..

I think it's just some type of stable plastic, QS. Seems pretty durable.
