Great Bombs everyone!

Always nice to see the generosity of so many fellow knifers here on the forum.
As many of you will recall, our knife brother Q has been on a bit of a DFKB buying spree, as confirmed with the beautiful Rams Horn Lexingtonian and Amber Stag Mortician he posted recently. However, while they are both Gorgeous knives, I had no idea that the best one of all was on the fast track to southern Indiana.
(Go Hoosiers!)
Yesterday, I found this Phenomenal Laffy Taffy Giraffe Bone Lexingtonian in my mailbox. I gotta say man, I've never been a big fan of Laffy Taffy, but that has now changed. He also sent a nice note with the package stating that he thought this Giraffe Bone looked so similar to the Northwoods Hawthorne Jack he Bombed me with several months ago, that he felt they were destined to be together. And as you can see in the photos, he was spot on with his assessment.
Thanks again, Santa Q, for these wonderful additions to the hoard. You are much too kind and generous my friend.

Received my first AAPK βBOMBβ today.

- Fightβn Rooster Cannitler
I sent this knife to glennbad to be re-handled when I discovered the Waterfall scales were βgassingβ. Got it back today and Glenn comped me the labor, saying he kept the knife βtoo longβ.

Apparently, CCC Tony needs to add another C to his moniker for "Clairvoyant" because that's the only logical explanation for this 'BOMB' he dropped on me. I don't recall ever mentioning anything on the forum about it, but I have wanted one of these Winchester Bullet End Dogleg Teardrop Jacks for a long time, ever since jerryd posted one on AAPK a number of years ago. I've seen a few come and go on eBay and even threw in some bids on occasion, but never got lucky enough to snag one. Out of the clear blue, Tony hits me with the very knife I've been longing for; so, obviously clairvoyance is the only possible way he could have known. Better watch your thoughts, fellas, CCC(C) Tony has the gypsy gift of an all-seeing eye that can read your thoughts and knows the deepest desires of your heart
Notice how well it fits in with my little group of similar patterns
Big MAHALO, Tony.....first you read my mind, then you blew my mind

'Q' you are very welcome! Every time I pulled this Winchester out of the collection over the past year, your name was all over it. This was a good time for it to fly over the water.

Had no idea you were hunting one ... it was meant to be!

Great score, Q! I've always been a fan of that Winchester Teardrop pattern as well.
Looks like I've been a victim of CCC Tony's unwavering generosity as well. I ordered one of those Beautiful Dapper Jigged Bone Nolichucky Jacks he posted last week and asked him if he will be getting any more of the Stag version in stock, since I missed the boat when they originally hit the market and sold out so quickly. So, when I received my DJB, Tony threw in the Stag version from his very own stash.

Thanks again, Tony, for these two Beautiful knives, great service as always, and your extreme generosity.
This is definitely one of my favorite Rosecraft patterns and I have also attached pictures with the Moss Green Smooth Bone I got from Tony a while back.

What a fine bombing there from Tony! I always liked those black box Winchesters, but always thought that the bone was too darkly dyed.

And apparently it ain't over yet as the 'Bombs' are falling like a driving rain. I got hit yet again, this week....TWICE!!!

One with advanced warning and one unexpected out of the clear blue.
First was this Schatt & Morgan Clip Point Heritage Jack that came to me courtesy of everyone's favorite Indiana addict, Kevin. When he saw the Spear Point model I posted, and how happy I was to get it because I had been wanting one for a long time, he dug into his massive stash and procured the matching Clip Point version to accompany it. Amazing, not only that he would have one stashed away but that he would be so generous as to give it to me so my Spear HJ would not be lonely

Say what you will about his tragic addiction, but the man has compassion and understands the importance of caring for the profound emotional feelings of knives
Big MAHALO to you, Kevin.....no longer must I listen to the forlorn weeping sounds of the solitary Spear in the night yearning for a companion
(Oh and BTW.....now if I could just find the two-blade Jigged Bone model my little HJ family would be complete.....no pressure, though

)
The second 'Bomb' literally came out of nowhere with no warning whatsoever and left me dazed and elated. Another famous AAPK bomber with precision aim, TripleF Scott, landed this double direct hit on me all the way from Florida. Wiley ol' Scott took note of an offhand comment I had made about a particular knife that heβd picked up in one of his legendary epic flea market hauls and he wasted no time launching it directly at me. I happened to mention that I used to own a Camillus Cuda and that I really liked it, so when he found one, he knew exactly who to aim it at. As anyone who has been a fortunate recipient of Scott's generosity knows, his 'Bombs' never arrive alone, they always contain multiple items and this one was no exception. The most exciting extra in this 'Bomb' was an uber cool vintage Kamp Cutlery Co. knife made in Prussia of all places with a Wharncliffe main blade

I don't know how he could possibly know what a huge fan I am of Wharnies

but man-o-man I really like this little knife. So frickin' AWESOME, man!!!
Another Big MAHALO to you, Scott, your generous 'Bomb' really floored me in the best possible way
