I have heard good things about the Coast knives made in Portland, but haven't owned one yet.
That one in your picture looks suspiciously like a Ranger, made by Colonial. I wonder if Colonial made it unser contract for Coast, or if Colonial just made a knife that looks that similar?
I have a Ranger, made by Colonial. I was going to take it out and make a comparison as I was thinking the same as you were, it looks very to close to the Coast. Now the trick will be finding it... among about 500... ::shrug:: ...(600?) other knives ::facepalm::
