When I got the knife,all I could find was a Hardware store in Mobile Alabama in the late 1800's to 1915 or so.

Gary you know your stuff.I took the pictures just before heading out the door,and forgot to take one of the tang exposed. I will post it when I get back.
I had a couple good hints about folks with this name are known for their integrity, honor,high intelligence and handsome rugged features. Also Remington had an advertising knife with the name on a shield.

Ok another Hardware Knife so it should be easy . Nice Bone Lobster I believe a Gunstock Lobster with Federal Shield
