Well, I frankly didn't remember the knife's pattern. I just knew it was a Biddle from PA.

Congratulations.

I look at every new auction, every day, in the Pre-1970 category on Ebay. That averages about fifteen pages of auctions daily, more on Sunday as that is a high posting day.

I can't remember all of them in detail.

But, if I see something that someone I know collects, I tend to notify them about it.

I don't buy much on my own any more, but I love helping other people spend their money.

You may want to get a towel out to wipe off the computer screen before you view these. I must apologize for the poor pics, I did them in a BIG hurry before leaving for work this morning with my Iphone. I am sure you will get the gest of these beauties though. First is an awesome CASE MFG. This was posted elsewhere but I wanted to post it here as now it belongs to me courtesy of my good friend Alan AKA Bonehead. I am researching the heck out of this one to learn more. I own a CASE MFG Warren PA and have seen the ones from Little Valley. This one isn't marked either way, but I once owned a CASE Manufacturing display case (man I wished I hadn't sold that one 20 years ago) and it was stamped BRADFORD. I wrote to CASE and they really didn't know much about it back then, but agreed it was the real thing. I don't even have a photo of it. So I am looking at a direct tie to Bradford possibly. The CASE historians may help.

Next knife, AWESOME doesn't even begin to describe this one. Charlie (UPNORTH) sent this one to me. A Union Tidioute punch blade. This knife was pictured in my first book. I loved it then and even more now that it resides in my collection. All I can say is WOW!!!!!! super knives from super people. Collecting knives is great fun, having friends who enjoy it as much as you do, EVEN BETTER!!!!!!!!!

Umm you have a little smutz on your cheek there, you might want a wipe that off before your wife sees you.

This past weekend I was in CT and Mass. Doing what else, LOOKING FOR KNIVES. I found these beauties. I think you New Englander's are missing the good ones. I saw plenty, just nothing from CT or MASS. LOL!!!!!!!!!

Schatt & Morgan Cigar cutter $12.75 yup stole it too.

Last one was an Ebay buy Ideal Cutlery company Reading PA.

I will research and report back on this one. If you know anything about it. Let me know.

Here is an old knife from PA. Harness Jack is in rough shape and the only thing legible on the tang stamp is PHILA (which makes me think it may be a a Tryon). The punch is marked PAT. NO. 701,878 - this is a patent for a pocketknife punch granted to Owen Harrison in 1902. I welcome any additional info someone may have regarding this knife.
