MB,They came out of the Nilo Miori collection.He was president of Camillus for many years.He had among his collection the Ulster factory collection.Many of the Maher & Grosh from this group came from Ulster.Some didn't.I have more to post but the photos are on my phone and the battery died. ::smirk::h

Camillus 1047 (Scout version of the #72) with a "Boy Scout Whittler" etch. I'm guessing last third of the 40's.

Jerry as you well know little used bone 72's are hard to find.You add the etch and it's even rarer. ::tu::

Great knives, Roger and Jerry, I think I saw a few of those knives at the blade show, Roger. They look even better in person.
Nice knife, Jerry , never saw one with the etch. Never could figure out why they called it a whittler but it's their knife to call what they want. I bet that's the only etched one we will ever see!!

Roger, Roger, Roger, those are FANTASTIC! What a show you have put on for us. I love old M&G knives, they have some fantastic etch material. I think that your collection is truly inspiring to all of us machirologists ::ds::

Thanks Jerry and Tom.I have a few more from the group to post.Jerry the Yankee Whittler is a neat combination of blades.They also at one time sold a 3 bladed jack they called a Yankee Whittler.
