I always liked these Americian Wildlife jumbo trappers when they were available nearly everywhere, finally bought one recently (off one of the stores here at AAPK); it came in yesterdays mail.

Today was the OKCA’s, (Oregon Knife Collectors Association), annual Mini-Show. Instead of 400+ tables like the April show we usually have about 40 tables. It is a much smaller show, but most of the people there know one another and it is a very friendly show. You are not as busy because there are not as many people, and since I didn’t have a table I had more time to visit with friends.
It was great fun and I picked up some nice knives, many of them were Camillus.
Here are some Camillus’ I got today.
This is a #1001, Sword Brand. It is the old number, the new # is 1, and the Sword Brand is stamped instead of etched. I believe it is probably pre-WWII.
This is a Camp-Glo. When you hold the knife in a bright light and then remove the light source the handles glow in the dark. Pretty clever! I think it is probably from the 1950s or 1960s.
This is a nice Camillus equal end jack-
This is a Camco equal end jack-
Lastly is a camper pattern with shrunken handles.
I think this tang stamp is one of the first used after WWII.
CAMILLIS (no line)/NEW YORK/U.S.A.
This knife has major snap for being 60+ years old.
(Wish I had that much snap at 60).
I picked up some more knives at the show, but I will show them in the appropriate threads for the brands.

Dale - Is the Equal End Jack a #16?
The utility knife is exactly like the one I just had re-handled, right down to the two piece can opener and shrunken handles. Only difference is mine is virtually unused. What are the chances of that? I paid $6 for mine with free shipping. I'm starting to get a deja vu feeling here. Didn't this happen to us once before with a different knife? I don't know. Maybe not. Weird feeling.
I have information that indicates that tang stamp was used from 1946-1956. The 1946 catalog shows the two piece can opener but the 1951 catalog shows the new style can opener (safety can opener?). Given that, I'm dating the knife 1946-1950. What do you think.

But every other thing about that knife is GREAT!
Funny, when I bought it, the only pics were ones with it open on its side and closed on its side. The file work was by no means a selling point for me. I just loved the style of the knife and the BJ micarta.
To me, it looks like a customized TL-29. It's a deja vu morning. I just have this niggling feeling I've seen a knife posted here on AAPK before that's very much like that knife. Customized TL-29 with blue jean micarta handles and maybe even file work. Of course it's also possible I'm going insane.

That is probably about right, date wise on the knife.

Are you also going to re-handle it with Catalina Amber from Culpepper's? We could have twins by different fathers.

Dale, nice finds at the show.
The scout is like the one that I posted back 3 or so weeks ago in the Camillus Scout thread. Your's appears to be in better shape.

Gino, I have just drooled all over the keyboard! That Norman Rockwell.... oh man, I missed out on one earlier today - was part of a group of knives and the final bid was just higher than I could justify on spending on my collection right now. But someday I will find one....
Love that easy open Jack too - who did the custom job?

A new one I got yesterday along with the bone handled Marlin Spike knife. It has not been cleaned yet and was very stiff until I gave it a shot of Quick Release oil. The blades are nearly full. Too bad about the cracked bone on the pile side. IIRC, this is the only one I have with the word CAMILLUS on the bolsters.
