This little Gem was produced by Canal Street Cutlery and the only one I have seen. I did confirm with Wally Gardiner that they produced this for a Jobber in Kentucky early in their beginning days.

It is Tang Stamped Canal Street and has that odd CS shield, quite interesting, I saw it up for auction and just had to have it...LOL

I do not have that many knives, but the collection is growing. I seem to buy only stockmans..just turned out that way. But my favorite knife (ok one of em) is this HORNET> Simmons Hardware congress I purchased maybe 10 years ago. This knive is built so well..excellent snap..just awesome. Granted I dont have much experience with many knives, but I did recently sell a couple 1st gen. Bulldogs that this reminds me alot of..a lot. I was tild this was a Parker 90s knife? I dont know..but I really enjoy this one.

Most likely made by Olbertz, a good quality maker in Germany, for Parker's Knife Collector Service. They advertised them as having been made from discovered old parts, but that's questionable.

They are good knives.

Jim and Buzz Parker pushed them really hard through a series of catalogs back then. I had subscribed to them and they offered a lot of knives along the same line.

I'm not surprised you like it. They are well made knives.

Very nice Congress knives, guys. I've posted these in other threads but I think they belong in here, I like using threads like this for reference.

Pics are a Maher&Grosh, a Rodgers and a Keen Kutter. The M&G and the Rodgers are large Congress knives and the KK is a smaller one.

What is the closed length of these beauties?

Thank you Joe, the M&G is 4", the Rodgers is a touch over 3 3/4" and the Keen Kutter is 3 1/2".
