A guy at the gun show had a small display with all sorts of retired ammunition. In the display he had two stripper clips loaded with 8x56R, a tough to find round for the Mannlicher M1895. I have one and tried to buy them from him but he wouldn't sell unless I bought the whole display. It's cool though, I found some a few booths away, which is weird because normally, no one would have any.Meridian_Mike wrote:Stopped off at a junk shop looking for knives Saturday..... I mean this was a SHO' NUFF JUNK shop......LOL.
Instead I found these old rimfire cartridges....
The 3 on the left are 41 Rimfire short (mostly used in derringers)
the 1 in the dead middle I am not sure about.... looks to be about 41 cal
The 3 on the right are 38 rimfire..... (1- long and 2- shorts)

Had fun digging but NO knives.....
....the one in the middle looks an awful lot like a civil war .44 rimfire(for the original henry)????......Meridian_Mike wrote:Stopped off at a junk shop looking for knives Saturday..... I mean this was a SHO' NUFF JUNK shop......LOL.
