That little devil is super-cool, Dog!
I didn't realize they're that small, I figured they were a lot bigger.
Well, at least you got that great knife in there somewhere so we don't revert to hijacking again! lol!
If those Gecos are running around wild, I guess you could take one home as a pet, or as bait...yes?

lol!
At 1st I took a liking to the little fellow... then he starts in trying to pitch me an insurance policy on my trailer...

like I'm going to trust a lizard to sell me insurance...what does he know?

Perfect, Dog!
I was hoping somebody would make the connection and have something humorous to add, and it doesn't surprise me at all that it was you, what with your vivid sense of humor and all!
Great catch, bud!

Whoa!
I don't know much about snakes, but just looking at that one ya gotta know it's poisonous!
Did you reach in real quick to safely retrieve your knife, Dog, or have you been bit?
Those are great shots my friend, well done!

Thanks Tvic,

it seems the reptile theme is still going on for me...

In the last photo at the bottom of the picture, you can just see the tail of the lizard as he makes his escape.
P.S. no animals were harmed in the process of taking these photos.

Mark, thanks to that mean old reptile, I've been down for the count. And as I've said before...
I don't like spiders and snakes
And that ain't what it takes to love AAPK
You fool, you fool
I don't like spiders and snakes
And that ain't what it takes to love AAPK
Like I want to be loved by AAPK...

OUCH!!!
I was only teasing, Dog, I had no idea you actually got bit!
As Tim said, I hope you're O.K.!
That is one nasty bite, do they tell you you'll be back to normal once it heals?
I'm so sorry for your misfortune, man, and hope you feel 100% soon!
I do recognize that song by Melanie, hope that makes you feel better!

I'm feeling a little better M&M...in fact I just said to myself;
I'll be working my way back to you, AAPK
With a burning love inside
Hey, I'm working my way back to you, AAPK
After the hand and arm tissue that died
Let the snake get away (do-do, do-do-do)
Been paying every day (do-do, do-do-do)
Thought I could have my cake and eat it too
But how I cried over being bit
See, I'm down and out
But I ain't about to go living my life without AAPK
I'll keep working my way back to you, baby
With a burning love inside
Yeah, I'm working my way back to you, AAPK
And the happiness that died
Along with the hand and arm tissue...

Careful!

Only eat a small amount of that mushroom at 1st, then wait a few minutes to see if there is a bad reaction...

then you can eat the rest...

Is it "Working my way back to you" by Smokey Robinson?
I'm glad you're feeling better, man, that is one nasty bite!

Working My Way Back To You” was originally a US top 10 hit for The Four Seasons in 1966. In 1979, The Spinners covered it, but producer Michael Zager added a new section titled “Forgive Me Girl” to the end. Their disco-soul take on the song peaked at #2 in the US in early 1980.
I was taking some "EDC" shots when my dog stared barking, I looked down the road and saw a deer eating the seed pods on a Palo Verd tree. There a Buck I have seen with a HUGE rack, but he only appears when I have no camera ready...

I've been thinking about that,

Dog, and I realized I was very wrong regarding Smokey Robinson as the artist,

deep down I think I knew it was somebody like The Four Seasons, but as I said my disco knowledge is sorely lacking so they never came to mind. It sounds like you've been quite adamant about your music what with all that info about who did "Working my..." etc., that's another area I haven't had much interest in.
Those are great shots of that Doe you captured along with the lush forest in the background, your photo skills are shining!
I really like the looks of that Colt, too bad it has more than the one spear-point blade, IMO!
How's the snake bite?
