Ain't it the truth!!!jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 06, 2021 9:22 pm Not a knife but I've been wanting one of these for quite a while. Ordered it this morning.
Me thinks we already know the answer to that . . . .jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 1:17 pmYer a baaaad influence Charlie Brown.(or maybe I'm just a weak person)
Cool scales, like that better than standard red. And if they go up in price like that, you won't be sorry. Good score. Congrats.TPK wrote: ↑Mon Sep 06, 2021 6:29 pm Decided I need to buy more Victorinox Classic Limited Editions. They go up in value very well over here.![]()
Bough this one. I'm not much for winter or skiing but I do like the design of this one. And I'm pretty sure that it will be sought after in the near future.Problem would be parting with it. Guess I need two of them. One to keep & one to sell.

I have the predecesor to that, the Taylor Landshark (or something like that). I really like the blade pattern of that knife.
Thanks I-Man!Ivoryman wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 4:26 pmCool scales, like that better than standard red. And if they go up in price like that, you won't be sorry. Good score. Cool looking knife Jerry!!jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 9:56 am Why? Do I really need a reason? For some unknown reason, it spoke to me. I think it was the blade profile talking, plus it wasn't much money. Soooo now one is coming to live with me. I may have a change of heart once I get it in hand but for now it appeased a mild case of the wanna's.
Nice one David!
Thank you Smitty and Tom.

Shepherd Hills had a today-only sale marking it down to $45, and that was enough to get the price and shipping down to the average price for just the knife. My local knife store is always out of stock with them when I have the money. I will probably be adding a bone version when they do have them again. The Yellow Delrin I chose as my user when Case announced the pattern.
The regular listing for the Yellow CV Copperhead shows "Currently on Backorder" so who knows how long it will be until I actually get it. I had some compact fencing bolt cutters I'd bought last week. They are German-made and were on backorder at the time from the place in KS I bought it from. The place I ordered it from said they wouldn't be getting them until the 14th. That was later changed to the 22nd; which made more sense to me. Surprisingly, they're out for delivery on the 11th.

Nice addition again David!
They are not going to look and feel like a CASE or a Buck, but IMO they are very good EDC and are good working knives. The ones I have are made very well, but I'm not sure how the blade sharpness will hold up with normal use. To me they still represent the traditional folding knife patterns so they are a very good addition to my collection.
OK, thanks for your evaluation David!dlr110 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 12, 2021 12:20 pmThey are not going to look and feel like a CASE or a Buck, but IMO they are very good EDC and are good working knives. I'm pretty sure it is, Smitty. But, it has a long pull and a sabre blade, unlike my other one that just has a nail nick. The seller didn't describe it very well, but it was only $20.00 shipped. I figured I save that every week due to not eating out from this lovely Covid crap!!Papa Bones wrote: ↑Sun Sep 12, 2021 10:52 pmNice one David. The 1940T is a great carry.![]()

Look forward to seeing it when you get it. Be sure to show a close up of the shield also. That and the blade grind gives a good indication of which year it may be.toomanyknives wrote: ↑Sun Sep 12, 2021 11:01 pm
