Just got this Case 6225 1/2. Impulse buy on ebay.

Nice knife but a little small for my taste. I should do more research before I buy.

Oh well. I will look for a larger Jack knife.

It is a Case - you could've done a lot worse!

One of my memories of my grandfather was his folding fish knife that he used to cut bait. Nobody knows what happened to his but I have his boat. My kids and I take it out at least a couple times a year even though we have a bigger newer one. I decided to get a new case to have in the old lund.
Bill
Cool boat & picture Bill! I bet it moves pretty good with that motor on it!

Nice!

Nev52, that's a great little knife!
We like to call those little knives, "Sunday go to meetin' knives".
I enlarged the picture of yours and realized the knife has a Coca-Cola shield rather than Case shield. I thought we were seeing a regular Baby Coke with the pretty red handles, like the Coke can. I haven't seen one like that before.

Good eye for details Philip!

I didn't even notice the shield.

Like it even more now.

My wife found this today at a garage sale, she said it's in rough condition but it looked like a quality knife and I only paid a dollar for it. If the handles were bone I think it would be a #61213 , it's 5 3/8" long , you can just make out the Case Tested stamp.Good job honey.

Jerry, on the one hand you have no self control but on the other hand you do have a bunch of really great knives!

And on the other, other hand, I have a bank account that would make a 9th street wino look like Jay Gould.

Self control is highly overrated
A few new ones that I've picked up over the last 3 weeks, all pre 1970.
