My "first year production", #10/ 1981, Walter Brend dagger. At that time he was still in Zephyrhills, Fl. There's a small tutorial on his Facebook page on this knife. I sent it to him to authenticate it. What a great guy...
Very nice!

Thanks Ken, took me a year and a half to buy it... well worth the effort. Walter and Kay are such wonderful people, if you ever have the opportunity to meet them, don't miss it. She's also started making knives a couple of years ago. The pair was done when she started, (for a charity). The two singles are mine ( sorry 'bout the pics), Pretty nice for a "rookie", but she did have a good teacher... LOL. Tom

No Ken, Off the top of my head I'd guess I acquired it maybe 12 to 15 years ago.

This is an excellent Hanwei reproduction of a Japanese Colonels sword. The color of the handle wrap varied with rank.

Eustace, I have seen something similar to this, but I can not remember its purpose.
Please enlighten us . . .
I'm sorry for the late response. Parachute knife from the army of the People's Republic of Bulgaria (so-called communist period). Used to cut tangled parachute ropes to open the spare. A rare knife that I have been looking for at a reasonable price for a long time.

A Chris Reeve fixed blade. He started with these then moved on to his famous folders. I bought this many years ago and am glad that I did. His fixed blades sell today, when you can find them, for 1 to 2 thousand simoleons.

Yes, I couldn’t find an old English style Bowie that was affordable, so I made one last year. I take it camping with me
