Would like to add the blue Derlin covered one Case put out a few years ago. Will have to postpone some knife purchases for the month, until everything gets back on track.
Hope everyone enjoys the photos.
Thanks,

My antique bone Tribal Lock arrived today! Going into edc service tomorrow. Should have went with a more contrasting background than tiger oak. Will get better pics later.

I've been bit by the slimline trapper bug lately ... they don't print much in the pocket they're so thin, always have nice walk & talk and are basically an overgrown peanut. I'm thinking these will make great panfish fillet knives this summer - update on that to follow. Liking this CCC version I just picked up --->

I think the pic looks good Bill. Lovely knife and beautiful wood background. ::tu::
John, I've always thought that design has a certain elegance to it. Great knife. ::nod::

Back in December of 2013 when Case came out with their USMC series, I bought one of the Copperlock patterns. When I received it, the shield was floating around in the tin it came in. I could have epoxied it back in but given my disappointment and the price I'd paid for it, I returned it for a refund.

Fast forward six and a half years to May of 2020 and you find me buying the 54 Trapper from the series. It came yesterday and I'm very pleased with it. No floating shield on this one. ::tu:: (plus it was $10 less than it was in 2013. What a deal, eh?)

Nice. I've got a few of those and your right, they work pretty good on panfish like Crappie and Bream. ::tu::

Funny - I never gave them a second thought & I eventually found one for a deal & tried it. I've definitely taken a liking to them ... it's just a nice size to carry in the pocket - super light and slim & a great slicer.

The bone color is what hooked me. I've been carrying a large stockman. After a week of carry I'm loving everything about the tribal lock. And.....there just may be an antique jigged bone medium stockman in the mail somewhere to be its companion. We won't tell the Mrs till after mother's day ::shrug:: ::smirk::

Mail man came today! 130th Anniversary 6318 in antique jigged bone. A little thicker than my other stockmans but feels really good in my hand.

Ha ha!! Sure do. But it will have to wait. I just bought a knife from Ray, and I need to hold back to make sure I have enough pennies for an Uberti Cattleman, a replica of the 1873 Single Action Army. Looking at the .357 model, 5-1/2" barrel, brass backstrap and trigger guard.
