I only have one Aaron Burkinshaw knife(a tuxedo)that looks to have been very new when the pen blade snapped and the tip of the master blade broke off because the tang stamp on the master blade was removed.
Anyway I perused my list of semi-obscure tang stamps(if I only have one of them it is obscure to me anyway)and came up with two good ones. Since I can only post one I flipped my lucky Susan B.Anthony dollar coin and came up with this one. I will show both sides and let you have at it. Good hunting!

I think the really obscure brands should come with a least a 'generalized' clue. Like maybe for this one the clue could be "USA knife" if indeed it is an American made knife.

Terrier, Robeson or Continental would have been my order of guesses.
The bone is from the Terrier period.
Definitely a Robeson product. Probably a 622151 five inch English Jack.

It's easy enough to stump me.

What I am enjoying is that we are seeing different examples of manufacturers' products, and learning what some of them look like. I'm sure I'll forget it all quickly, but it's nice to put "knife" face to a name!

Glenn I agree, this is a lot of fun. I'm glad you came up with this idea.

Hardware brand.Early 1900's.The only example of this tang stamp I have ever seen.
