(It's the orange handles and the jigging.)
Ulster Bonite. Definitely.

It's been said that it's bad to shrink but I have two or three and have seen pictures of several more and none have/had shrunk that I could see. ::shrug::

Picked up a 4" Colonial Anvil Jack off eBay this evening. It has a chip out of the pile side handle but other than that it looks pretty good from the picture.

Ordered a Kershaw Grant County yesterday. 2-5/8" closed, ABS scales.
It's the companion to the Corral Creek I got a month ago.

Uh oh Jerry, can you feel yourself sliding down the slippery slope of Anvil collecting? Nice pickup pard. Now I do feel myself sliding down the Cattle trail, dropping money here and there - bought another Junior Cattle Knife, this one off of ebay this morning. Sellers picture - should have it later this week or early next week; a Camillus 75. OH

Royal, those Kershaw lock-backs are nice knives, local gunshop here used to stock them - very solid. OH

Nice camillus Bruce. I had been eyeing that one but never got around to it. Cattle knives are hard not to like.

Picked this one up on ebay from our very own olderdogs1. ULSTER/Knife/Co. Jack with horn handles. 3.75" closed. The handles have a few bites in them from whatever those beetles are called but just adds a little character, or would be a great candidate for a custom rehandle. Pre WWII.

Jerry, what do you plan to do with so many knives? Must be some kind of weirdo knife accumulator...

I don't know why, they're all Asian and cheap, cheap, cheap. I think I had it in my mind to give them away. Should have kept my money because I have my eye on a Case Mini-Trapper in 6.5 stag bone. As the song goes, "somthin' got a-hold of me". ::dang:: ::dang:: ::facepalm::

Couple official BSA knives on the way. Finally found a #72 for EDC (shrinky-dink handles, but if I get tired of those eventually I'll just have one of our fantastic knife artisans put some snappy new pants on it) and an Imperial version of the official Cub Scout knife. I have the Camillus version sitting on my desk with the caplifter open handling a series of hoppy IPAs this afternoon.

I've been hankering for one of these Sidewinders for awhile now. I saw this one on the bay yesterday at a semi reasonable BIN price, So it is winging it's way to the Smith abode. :D

That one is different, pretty cool. You'll need to do some fancy stone work to sharpen the choil area :D

Yes Paul that will require some attention to detail. I'm thinking maybe a fine rat tail file will be in order.

They sure do. I think that one's going to ultimately be a likely candidate for rehandling, something special. I also enhanced my EDC box today by getting a user Yello-Jaket #72 so I can leave the pristine one as such. ::paranoid::

Tony, I'm afraid that my diagnosis is that the 72 bug has bitten. You better go back and read that entire 72 thread to see what you're in for :D ::handshake::

I knew I was ruined when I got my first one. ::nod::

A few hours out from a bid on a newer BSA model. ::paranoid::

Well I notched #2 of 7 in my quest for a discount set of 1978 stag red etch knives Yesterday. A 5347 that was a steal. The Red Etch set will complete my quest for all of the 70's stag sets. Only 5 to go!
