I've picked up a few since I last posted.

Hey Jerry, I got 3 of those 50th Anniversary 110s. With leather sheaths.

I bought that one at Menards and it came with a leather sheath. They had it for cheaper than any place I had seen. It did a couple of things for me. I didn't have a Buck 110 so it checked that box and while I was at it I thought I might as well make it a 50th Anniversary so it checked that box.

David, you should get yourself one of those 721s. They're a very nice, sturdy knife and only about $30 at Wally World.

Jerry, I got mine at Menards also. The first one was $34.99. Went back a few days later they were only $32.99, so I bought two more. I will have get one of those 721s. I have a Quickfire in blue.

That's right. You're the one who clued me in to Menards for my 110. Thanks!

The Quickfire is very clumsy for me. But I can recommend the 721 (or almost same knife, 722).

Jerry your welcome on the Menards info. I thought the same on the Quickfire. I never carry it.

Jacknifeben - that is an interesting old whittler. Just how old is it? And who made it? Like Jerry said, someone loved it a lot. And for a long time too.

I just recieved this knife from a friend, he told me he won it in a poker run,. It's a japenese knife, and it has a nice fit and finish. There is a numbe on the other side it is 081016. I'd appreciate any comments or backround on this knife. ftd

Jacknifeben - thanks for the info. I cannot say that I have ever heard of Babcock Hardware knives before. I do not recall seeing a whittler with the springs and pins arranged like that. If I understand what I am seeing, there is an extra pin because the springs for the pen blades end at the lock instead of going all the way to the main blade pin. Very nice design.

I've been fortunate enough to add a gray Kershaw DWO 3000 and a red Kershaw DWO 3000 to the pile. All I'm missing now is the green one.
