This one has been sitting on my desk and the "scouts" peeked out at me from behind some sticky notes so I pulled it out again.
I was thinking of using it in our mystery game but who was going to guess this one !
Its an early scout.
I found it in an old box and went about deciphering it a while back and kept my notes on the tag obviously.
S.R. Droescher from Soligen Germany, moved to New York and more notable for straight razors, scissors and hones.
Droescher's SRD brand with an arrow through SRD 1891-1924.
Found an old reference to SRD Germany too.

Nice old scout!

These chow set are fairly common I stopped chasing them years ago. But if a nice one comes along I will grab it, that's the case with this one.
This is the best one I have ever found, the leather is pristine! All the implements are new, definitely has never been used

I just started a collection of Scout knives about 6 weeks ago but I’ve had the Ulster on the bottom for several years.
I hope to build the collection gradually. I hope these quality for this thread as only the Ulster is an Official Scout knife.
Camillus
Camillus Sword Brand
Rough Ryder
Ulster
I have already found a frequent use for the punch. I have a part time driving job and I stop for coffee everyday that I work. The breather holes in plastic coffee cup lids are never big enough. The punch is the perfect tool to make it a little wider.

Yes, give me a day or so and I will post a picture of the spoon and provide the name of the company that supplied them.

I have spent the better part of the last two days going through this thread from beginning to end.
I must say, this is one of, if not the best, thread on AAPK.
While my ability to contribute has been limited to knives made by The Robeson Cutlery Company, I have enjoyed just about every post and every photograph.
This thread has been going strong since 2009 and it is not lacking in potential BSA/GSA/CFGA/CSA and the vast variety of general scout/utility knives of various patterns and configurations well into the future.
I suspect this thread will live on as long as AAPK is on the world wide web.
