Baseball??? What's baseball??? Not being played in DC this year unfortunately.
Sure it is - maybe just not by the Nationals.
Ken
Hoping they can avoid 100 losses, but it ain't lookin' good. I will still attend at least a few games once the weather gets better. Today would be perfect.

Don’t look now, but the Rangers are 12-6 in May, and just swept the Angels who were in first place in the AL West when the series started. Martin Perez pitched a complete game 3-0 shutout against the Trashtros tonight (in Houston) for the Rangers’ 5th win in their last 6 games. Don’t know how long it will last but……………

Never heard that one before! And the Rangers' hot streak may not last, but they'll probably have a better record than the Tigers when the regular season is wrapped up.

One of the best, if not the best catch of the year. Even the guy who hit it was impressed. Robbery!

Well, with Unconstitutional rhetoric coming out of MLB and specific teams, it looks like I won't be supporting baseball for years to come. Not really losing much, the Nats will flat out suck for at least a few years.

I'm with you, 1967rr!
I jumped back in after MLB kinda started backing away from BLM stuff. But now, I'm bailing out and away again!
My computer baseball does me just fine, thank you.

As of yesterday, Toronto is sitting in second play in the east.
The best decision the team has ever made, was to bring on Vlad Jr. He's crushing @ the crucial moments, breathing life into are otherwise meh Canadian baseball team.
World series Canada, here we come!

Today is Bobby Bonilla Day. On July 1st of every year until 2035 (when he will be 72 years old) he receives his annual deferred payment of over $1 mil from the Mets. This in spite of not having played in 20 years. No need for me to explain how Bernie Madoff played a part in this.

Despite a horrible first month this season, Rangers’ second baseman Marcus Semien has been arguably the best hitter in all of MLB since mid-May. His standing among 2nd basemen in MLB since then:
Toronto smashing there way into the World Series, what a year for baseball!

Jays are holding the wild card, and in third everywhere else.
Houston is playing strong ball, can't wait to see us go head-to-head.

Cubs are mixing up the player base almost on a daily basis. About the only one of the old players left from the old team is Contraus. I guess they're calling it rebuilding.

And the Jays roster has been together since little league!
They all came through together, that's why they're playing amazing ball.

Cardinals on a hot streak, just swept the Cubs and the damnYankees.
Seven game win streak, 10-4 record since the All-Star break. Got a 2 game lead over the Brewers and playing good ball, but there’s a lot of baseball left.

Yup Ken, quite the year for ball.
Jays broke 5 league records, with that 28-5 game against the Red Sox's, at Fenway.
It's a long year for ball, hasn't been this interesting in decades!

Off a win against the Twins, Jays are 1-5 against the Orioles, bottom of the fifth. 3 game series this time.
