Dan I usually don't carry stag except for special occasions

Wow, those are pretty cool! They look pretty big too. How long are they? They look like they could be 4" or more.

I have an LF&C Wharncliffe about the same age, and the same size. That size and frame shape is just plain perfect. Despite being about 90 years old, it still sees regular use. I plan to get the cracked up and nearly worn smooth Bakelite handles replaced, however.

Thanks Cody, lately it seems like that's all the knife I need. You're right, it does have some age on it and it walks and talks as if it came off the bench yesterday. They couldn't have got more blade in that thing and I have to feel for it in my pocket to remind myself I'm packing it. And it's pretty.
I hope you can get your covers in order. It's like getting a new knife.
