Just got back from Wednesday night bible study where I carried my old faithful Queen #49 in my left front pocket along with a 9mm on the other side. Treefarmer

It's a '58-'60 and I happen to have another just like it, same stamp but unused, waiting in the wings, if I ever wear this one out. They are the knives of my avatar.

I do love a good stockman!

My week started out with a boiler wash, so in anticipation of getting wet I put the carbon and wood away and broke out the stainless and micarta! The Case Carhartt edition large stockman feels perfectly satisfying in the hand, and the rough jigging on the scales provides great grip when wet or oily!

Great bone Treefarmer, beautiful color and texture.
A Brother and a GEC Bullet End 85. The 85 has some of my favorite bone, smooth ivory bone. The Brother is the best bone I've ever seen from the Pacific rim hands down. Don't know if I like it better than the 85, but it's far better than the Pacific rim stuff I've seen heretofore. Definitely.

A Winchester #W 15 3964 Stockman made for Blue Grass Cutlery by Queen in 1987 with carbon & old Rogers bone & a 2003 Case #62156SS Tuxedo with SS & bone:

So yesterday put some new handles on this old Case stockman, and sharpened it, too, so it's in my pocket today.
