Looks like Schrade cut product to me ?
I have seen this model in bone with the same shield but it’s the first EO I have ever seen with the RWB handles by Schrade.
Original condition the way I like to find them .

This is not a sanctioned official Scout Knife. It was made on contract for W. R. Case & Sons (Camillus?).

VERY NICE SCOUT POCKET CUTLERY BEING POSTED BY EVERYONE.

A couple of days ago, this Landers Frary & Clark multi tool scout pocket knife, arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT purchase the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, it did get added to my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is a L.F. & C., one blade, three tools (a cap lifter or bottle opener, a can opener and a punch or awl) one tang stamp, 3 3/4" closed, milled liners (worn), two springs, multi tool, scout pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "L.F. & C. (over) UNIVERSAL (in a rectangular "banner") (over) MADE IN U.S.A." The main blade (IT IS SHARP!!) has NO half stop, NO opening snap and NO closing snap. The tools ALL open, close, and function properly. This pocket knife has definitely seen some use. But overall, this pocket knife is still in FAIR+ condition. It did need some cleaning.
I cleaned what I could. I took some pictures and here it is.

nice one Mike - 1st one I've ever seen - funny how they put the nail nick so far away from the EO cutout I'm sure there's some logic there like being able to open the knife with or without the nail nick

I forgot to ask Skip, are you cataloging this as an LF&C #04666, BSA #1585 and Kerr #LFC02BR since it looks like this at one time had a permanent bail?

Yes Tom, I would classify it as a LF&C #04666, a BSA #1585 and a Kerr #LFC02BR.

However, it did turn out to be a keeper and it became the latest example to be added to my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is a COLONIAL "FOREST-MASTER", one blade, three tools (a can opener, a cap lifter or bottle opener and a punch or awl), one tang stamp, one tool stamp, 3 3/4" closed (not including the bail), scout or camping, pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "COLONIAL (over) PROV. U.S.A." The can opener tool, front stamp says, "U.S.A." The shield says "FOREST-MASTER" The main blade has a VERY WEAK half stop. The main blade has an OK opening snap and it has an OK closing snap. The three tools ALL open, close, and function properly. This pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. It did need a bit of a cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

The three tools open, close, and function properly. This pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. It did need cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

However, it definitely turned out to be a keeper and it did receive a warm welcome to my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is a BESTEEL WARRANTED, one blade, three tools (a cap lifter or bottle opener, a can opener, and a punch or awl), one tang stamp, 3 5/8" closed (not including the bail), a long blade pull, two springs, multi tool, scout pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "BESTEEL (over) WARRANTED (over) 31" The shield says "SCOUT" The main blade has a SOFT half stop, NO opening snap and NO closing snap. The three tools ALL open, close, and function properly. Overall, this pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. It did NOT require any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

The main blade has NO opening snap and the main blade has NO closing snap. The four tools ALL open, close, and function properly. This pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. It did NOT need cleaning. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.
