roseandthistlecustom,
The 1st picture in your last post is very captivating. Light house beam and the surf, beautiful!

Thanks. That was kind of an impulse shot driving home after walking the beach. It took several tries because I wanted the beam aimed out. Hecata Head is a favorite spot of ours and can be seen in the music video Bridge over Troubled Water

Cool pictures guys! Scott's reminds me of our ATV racing days close to Lake Okeechobee.
Heading to Cumberland around noon today for my wife's Scholarship Board dinner, so I'm getting my 4 miler in around the 'hood. Totin' a Shapleigh today.

In these there's my Hug, a Vic ALOX and the CF Skelatool (also present but not seen Bradford Guardian 3.5).
About 84 miles with 20-30 of that on gravel roads.

Great photos RATC!

You guys seem to be out in the woods so often I'm beginning to think you live there! lol! I almost bought a Hug yesterday, but backed out at the last second, how do you like yours? Thx!

Wish we lived in the woods. Last place before this we built ourselves, doing rafters with just 2 people was a challenge but we managed. We didn't have running water, heated with a woodstove and cooked on a Campchef but seriously miss living in the country like that.
The key and Hug are both seriously good knives. The only caution is that the Hug is not easy to open. I can pinch it but most people need the nailnick or me to open it for them. The feel is solid and competent, it's a strong cutter with a wicked tip. A side note on their M390 I forgot to bring a can opener once and used a Viper Swayback to slice the chili open without damaging the extremely fine tip.

Thanks for the info RATC!

Looks like I should have pulled the trigger!

Luckily for me it's never too late!

I was admiring the Key also, but ultimately decided I like the Hug more!

Sounds like you have the great outdoors in your blood, good for you!
